Space to the colors

Maeko’s dye house is located in Como where we dye in compliance with the R.E.A.C.H. regulation and, upon customer request, we use GOTS certified dyes. We provide sampling services starting from 10 meters up to manage productions of all sizes. We offer a wide range of dyeing services, useful for treating raw fabrics, ready-dyed fabrics, knitted or jersey fabrics, shuttle fabrics and yarns. We can also dye zippers, trimmings, lace, but also already dyed fabrics.

The dye house is open 6 days a week, the laboratory uses state-of-the-art industrial machinery, direct, reactive, acid and dispersed dyes on any type of fiber (except acrylics) and, if required, dyes also only one garment at a time.

Eco-friendly cold dyes

The continuous research for sustainability has pushed Maeko to rework some old dye recipes and use them with the help of modern equipment, obtaining interesting new nuances at low temperatures. Maeko has developed a dyeing line with low environmental impact, it is an alternative process capable of dyeing at no more than 30 °, where is reduced the waist of energy and water. A unique department has been set up, based on the reinterpretation and optimization of old artisan dyeing methods. An appreciable range of primary colors is obtained, which are effectively mixed and stabilized to ensure a fair resistance to washing, sweat, light and rubbing. Maeko has created a dyeing system capable of combining tradition and modernity, which translates into well-being for the environment, for the people who work there and for consumers.
